Hey there, and welcome! Ryan here, the founder of this project, and I’m incredibly excited to introduce you to what we’re building. Dinge is a movement designed to connect passionate history lovers with real excavation projects that need support.
Why Dinge?
I’ve always been fascinated by history—especially the parts that are still waiting to be uncovered. From lost civilizations to ancient structures buried beneath the earth, there’s an incredible amount of history still waiting to be discovered. The problem? Many of these excavation projects struggle to get the funding they need. Traditional grants and institutional support are limited, leaving archaeologists with incredible finds but no way to dig deeper—literally.
That’s where Dinge comes in. We’re creating a platform that bridges the gap between archaeology and digital communities, leveraging crowdfunding, social media, and modern storytelling to bring excavations to life. Our goal is simple: make it easy for anyone, anywhere, to directly support the search for history.
What We’re Building
Dinge is more than just an idea—it’s a platform designed to make real change. Here’s what you can expect as we grow:
- A marketplace-style website where excavation projects can showcase their work and receive direct funding.
- A space where archaeologists and researchers can post updates, stream live content, and engage with supporters.
- A community where history lovers and contributors can be a part of groundbreaking discoveries.
How You Can Get Involved
Whether you’re an archaeologist, a historian, or just someone who loves the idea of being a part of uncovering the past, we’d love to have you on this journey. We’re just getting started, and your support—whether through spreading the word, joining our community, or contributing to future projects—makes all the difference.
We’ll be sharing more updates soon, so stay tuned. In the meantime, if you have an excavation project that needs funding, want to collaborate, or just want to say hi—reach out! We’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for being here. Let’s go make history.
