Dinge is building a platform that connects archaeological excavation projects with a global network of supporters. We aim to create a seamless, engaging user experience that enables people to discover, support, and engage with ongoing digs worldwide.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Web Development & IT Support contributor to help build, maintain, and optimize our WordPress-based platform. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the website runs smoothly, is visually appealing, and delivers a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities:
✅ Develop and maintain the Dinge website on WordPress
✅ Optimize website performance (loading speed, mobile responsiveness, SEO)
✅ Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions quickly
✅ Manage website updates, including content, plugins, and security patches
✅ Improve user experience through UX/UI enhancements
✅ Provide IT support to the team for technical questions and issues
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with WordPress development and management
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- DKIM, DMARC, SPF Records
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and website optimization
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage technical tasks proactively

This is currently an unpaid position. Dinge operating as an LLC is just now getting into motion, and I’m moving quickly to build a passionate team that shares a common vision and is excited to contribute in their spare time.
The role would be completely flexible—there are no strict obligations. We’re just aiming to hit key milestones to keep the momentum going and stay on track with our roadmap.
If you’re already deep into this world, watching videos, reading articles, and exploring the mysteries of ancient sites, you’d be a perfect fit. Your support would help us uncover more of history’s hidden stories and build a platform that connects archaeological discoveries with a global audience.
