Dinge is on a mission to bridge the gap between archaeological excavation projects and the global community of history enthusiasts. Through crowdfunding, digital marketing, and engaging content, we empower archaeologists to uncover and share history with the world.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Marketing Manager to join our team as a contributor. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating and managing engaging social media content that resonates with our audience, grows our online presence, and builds a strong community around archaeological exploration.
Responsibilities:
✅ Develop and execute a social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok)
✅ Create high-quality and engaging content (images, videos, and text) tailored for each platform
✅ Schedule and post content using social media management tools
✅ Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and foster a positive, active community
✅ Collaborate with the content and marketing team to highlight excavation updates and discoveries
✅ Track performance and adjust strategy based on analytics and engagement metrics
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and content strategies
- Experience creating multimedia content (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.)
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Passion for history, archaeology, and storytelling
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
To Be Clear:
This is currently an unpaid position. Dinge operating as an LLC is just now getting into motion, and I’m moving quickly to build a passionate team that shares a common vision and is excited to contribute in their spare time.
The role would be completely flexible—there are no strict obligations. We’re just aiming to hit key milestones to keep the momentum going and stay on track with our roadmap.
If you’re already deep into this world, watching videos, reading articles, and exploring the mysteries of ancient sites, you’d be a perfect fit. Your support would help us uncover more of history’s hidden stories and build a platform that connects archaeological discoveries with a global audience.
Once we have a system in place for crowdfunding, the business will take a small percentage to cover operational costs like website fees. Beyond that, any future profits would either go toward compensating the team (You) or be reinvested into our projects. If you are still interested, please apply!
